Warranty and Returns

FEATHERCAST WARRANTY AND SERVICE POLICY


We believe so strongly in our products and our craftsmanship that we are willing to not only stand behind the Rainshadow/Forecast Blank Warranty & Service Policy but we want to offer our own additional warranty. In the unlikely event that you have the need for a warranty claim, please read through all of the policies below so that your claim can be filed correctly and as efficiently as possible.
If you have purchased a completed rod from us that we built from a Rainshadow or Forecast blank, we will gladly process the warranty claim for you. In this case, you will need to properly package, insure and ship the completed rod back to us at Feathercast. You will need to include a copy of the original receipt along with a $15 check to cover the return shipping & handling costs. We will then remove the components that we installed and ship it back to Batson Enterprises for you. Please note that we will not attempt to make any repairs to the blank itself so that we will not void the original manufacturer's warranty. Once we receive your blank back in our shop, we will reassemble the rod and ship it back to you. We reserve the right to only process warranty claims that will meet the conditions given in the Rainshadow/Forecast Blank Warranty & Service Policy.
If you discover that you have any defects in the craftsmanship of your Feathercast fishing rod, please contact us immediately so that we can have the opportunity to correct the deficiency. We will discuss all of your options for repair. After contacting us, please ship the rod to our shop and we will ship it back to you at our expense.
Regardless of what the warranty issue is, we will contact you immediately upon receiving a warranty claim so that we can ensure your claim is processed to your satisfaction so please include a card with your name, address, email address and day/evening phone numbers. It would be very helpful to us if you would call or email us prior to shipping your warranty claim. Please note that this is not a requirement for a claim but it will help us process your claim much more efficiently.

Return Policy

 Warranty Returns

Should your product(s) need to be returned for something that is covered under our comprehensive Feathercast Warranty, please review our policy and we will do everything in our power to ensure the items you purchased are replaced or repaired to your satisfaction. Please see our Feathercast Warranty Policy (above) for specific details.

Buyer's Remorse Returns

If for any other reason you choose to make a return, we accept product returns however, there will be a 20% restocking fee.

 

Returns for Shipping Errors

Should you receive the wrong item(s) due to a shipping error on our behalf, we will gladly replace it and pay for the return shipping on the incorrect item(s).

 

UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON CUSTOM MADE RODS, however, please contact us and we will discuss your options. It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with your Feathercast rod so we understand there may be exceptions and if we feel we can resell or modify the rod, we may accept a return. We will assess a restocking fee.
